| Hello, My name is Sara Reid, I am 11 years old and in 6th grade. I have been home schooled all my life. I have a vision to be a missionary and preach around the world, when I grow up. I am teaching myself, with the help of my older sister Hanna, Spanish. I hope that I can use this when I am a missionary. I have one dog, named Haily and a cat, her name is Fudge. My favorite thing on the computer is a free online horse game Bella Sara, it's very fun and they update it with something new almost every month. I love to read books, mainly mystery or horse stories. The Redwall series by Brian Jacques is my favorite. Also I enjoy the Boxcar Children. My favorite movie is The Chronicles of Narnia, I also enjoy the books. I love to draw and write stories. I'm writing a story now but I am not very far on it(I'm a slow typist). I have many ideas for future stories. I would like to publish my stories, with my illustrations, some day soon. |

| In Oregon, Megan my older sister owned Haily's mother and father. But her farther was a rescue and had a habit of bitting Megan. So Megan bred them and sold all the others,(including her mom and dad) because Haily was the best for our family. When we took our 2-month journey across the U.S.A we had to take her with us. She was too special to us to leave, so we took Haily along. When Haily was a baby, we owned two male cats, who were like the puppies mom and dad put together. They taught them to be good and they played with them. But when mom started to breed Haily would run up to the cats, the cats would get scared and hiss and fight her till Haily got scared of cats. Now she won't go near them for anything, unless it's the kittens that we train to like dogs. Haily seems to know that they are fragile and scared easily, she will stand perfectly still and let them sniff her. Haily is a Shetland Sheepdog. I am doing a 4-H project with her. We are doing obedience and agility training. Haily is a fast learner and is very patient with me when I teach her new things. She is a perfect companion for my family because she puts up with everything we do to her. |
