Hanna's Page
Welcome!
My name is Hanna Eve Reid.  I'm 15 years old and in 10th grade. I
have been home schooled all my life. I am exploring the possibility of
getting a Librarians or Child Care degree. I would, in the future, like to
do some missionary work, possibly in South America.
I own an American Alpine goat, named Atlanta. I bottle fed her so she
would be friendly and well adapted to humans.  She is just five and a half
months old. I am doing a dairy goat project with 4-H and hope to breed
and show Atlanta some day. I have, in the past, owned Nigerian Dwarf
goats.
I volunteer at South Branch library on Wednesdays and Fridays. I enjoy
my work there a great deal and I would like to thank Kate Pearce and all
the librarians there for helping me out. Next year, I would like to start
taking classes at Vance Granville Community College, which is located
right next to the library. Hopefully I can still continue my work at the
library.
In my free time I like to read books, particularly historical fiction and
fantasy. Some of my favorites included Pride & Prejudice by Jane
Austen, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, Ella Enchanted by
Gail Carson Levine, and The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I also
am involved in a lyrical dance group at my church. We do interpretive
dances to songs of our choice. The group was only started about a year
ago but has already performed at other churches and has requests for
more.
