The Pet's and Pal's 4-H Club is a group for kids and teens
who want to work with their pets. Our club is in
Granville County, and we work with a variety of animals
including dogs, cats, and goats. We hope to do more
pets someday such as chickens and expand our group
with more members. We have also gone camping as a
group, visited a dog agility trial, visited a cattery, gone
to a goat show and we hope to do a community service
project with an animal rescue. Our younger members,
called Cloverbuds, have classes about pets in general.
We've also been stewarding at cat shows as a fund
raiser, which has been a wonderful experience for
everyone in pets. Of course we all like each other so
much that we find excuses to have parties and get
togethers.

4H Christmas Party
The Christmas party was a lot of fun. All the food
and dessert was very good. The hayride was fun
too. There was also a nice candy cane and icicle
craft. The party was enjoyable.

The Cat Show
The cat show was interesting. I enjoyed seeing
all the different cats. I was cleaning cages. The
cat show is a fund raiser for our 4H club. The
hairless cat was interesting. The lunch was
good too. The best looking cat was the tiger
cat. He was also the shyest.

The Museum Of Life and Science
The museum of life and science is the coolest
place in Durham.
The best part is The Catch the Wind exhibit.
Some of our group enjoyed the butterfly house.
Other members enjoyed viewing the animals in
The Explore the Wild exhibit I think the group
loved it all. I think it is a very good place for kids.
